Experts have discovered that animals are healthier mentally and physically if
fed numerous small meals on a regimented schedule. Studies have proven that
stall vices, colic, destructive boredom, overfeeding illnesses, obesity, and
other health related problems as well as food waste may be alleviated by this
type of program.
Almost any grain fed animal may be fed with
the Quick Feeder - calves,
sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, horses - as well as dogs and cats and other smaller
pets. For horses, medium to large pets or multiple small pets, choose Model QFS - the standard sized feeder measuring approximately 32"
high x 15 1/2" wide x 9" deep which can hold 30 to 40 pounds of grains depending
on the volume or 10 to 20 pounds of dog or cat food.
Quick Feed Automatic Feeders dispense everything from oats and mixed grains
to pellets, cat food and small kibbles to large chunk dog foods. Quick Feed
Automatic Pet & Animal Feeders operate by electronic timers. Customers
without electricity to their outdoor facility or that have unreliable
electric service have chosen 12 volt battery operation with solar charger.
It's your choice - electric with battery backup or 12 volt battery
operation.
Digital Timer Functions
- 12 hour or 24 hour clock (military time).
- Audible or silent power interruption alarm.
- Locking keypad prevents accidental settings
changes.
- Manual feed override - for supplementation or
treat.
